Saturday morning begins the fun!
We will leave Terry's dock around 10AM for the overnighter fishing trip out to the Baltimore/Wilmington canyons. On his 52 foot Ocean Sportfisher, named Baroness, it will probably take us about 2.5 hours to reach our destination, which is about 70 miles offshore. The afternoon will be spent trolling along the canyon walls for big game fish, such as tuna and marlin.
Once dusk arrives, we will anchor for the night. During the night we will fish for swordfish by dropping baited hooks with LED lights into the depths. We will all take shifts between fishing and sleeping. [Click or scroll down to see if we caught anything on Saturday!]
Chapter Three: Fishing and Back to SU
Yes, we did catch a fish on Saturday! Right as the sun sunk below the horizon at dusk, we hooked and released a 97 pound white marlin. :)
